Creating the Lord of the Rings Symphony: A Composer's Journey Through Middle-Earth.
This DVD showcases the incredible and classic music of Howard Shore and tells how his twelve hours of The Lord of the Rings was transformed into a two-hour symphony. It includes clips of the Symphony's performances in Montreal, Canada. Also featured are some exquisite illustrations by Alan Lee and John Howe.
Shore's three scores for the trilogy are examined in chronological order, and includes such memorable songs as Concerning Hobbits, The Black Rider, and Isengard's Theme. Many of the songs include commentary by Shore explaining his musical thought processes.
This is DVD is in mint condition. It is unrated and runs approximately 52 minutes.
